IBCF holds National Seminar on ‘Islamic Investment for Socio-Economic Development: The Better Alternative”

Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) organized a National Seminar today (June 10, 2017) on “Islamic Investment for Socio-Economic Development: The Better Alternative’ at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.

State Minister for Finance and Planning, M A Mannan MP was present in the seminar as Chief Guest while Chairman of IBCF and Islami Bank, Arastoo Khan presides over the seminar. Chairman of the Social Islami Bank, Major (Retd.) Dr. Md. Rezaul Haque delivers welcomes address at the seminar.

Managing Director & CEO of EXIM Bank, Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah presents The Key Note; which is discussed over by the Director General of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, Dr. Toufic Ahmad Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of First Security Islamic Bank, Syed Waseque Md. Ali, and the Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Md. Abdul Hamid Miah.

Vice Chairman of IBCF A K M Nurul Fazal Bulbul moderates the seminar while Managing Director and CEO of Al Arafah Islami Bank, Md. Habibur Rahman voted thanks to the participants.

Prominent Economists, Educationists, Managing Director and CEOs of different banks, Islamic Scholars, Business Leaders and local elites were present in the seminar.
