The Government has decided to appoint Md. Nazmul Islam as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Sweden.
Md. Nazmul Islam, a career diplomat of 15th BCS (Foreign Affairs), joined Foreign Service in 1995. Currently he is serving as Director General (Administration, GS & ICT) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his distinguished diplomatic career, he served as the Consul General in Jeddah and Counsellor in Beijing. He also served in Bangladesh Missions in Jakarta and London in different capacities.
Md. Nazmul Islam did his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET).
