Bangladesh today reported 3,062 COVID-19 cases while the coronavirus claimed overnight 79 lives.
“The country reported 10.11 percent COVID-19 positive cases as 30,294 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, ” Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its routine daily statement.
An analysis of the official data suggests that 1,209 out of 3,062 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Dhaka city alone in the past 24 hours while the virus claimed 14 out of 79 lives in the city during same period.
The official tally showed the virus killed 26,274 people and infected 15,03,680 so far, it added.বিস্তারিত
