Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has sought permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to hold a grand rally in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office in the capital on October 28.
A delegation of BNP handed over a letter to the DMP office on Saturday afternoon seeking the permission.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this in a press briefing at the party office.
Earlier on October 18, BNP announced to hold a grand rally in Dhaka on October 28 as part of its one-point movement to oust the government.।
