The Council of Advisers in principal approved the draft of the Bangladesh Law Officers (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 aimed at ensuring the existing attorney service stronger.
The approval was given at a meeting of the Council of Advisers at Bangladesh Secretariat here today with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in the chair, a release of the Cabinet Division said.
The Ordinance has been frame bringing necessary amendment to the Bangladesh Law Officers Order, 1972 with a view to appoint competent and efficient law officers immediately as the parliament is dissolved.
The council of advisers also approved in principal the draft of the International Crimes (Tribunals) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 and the National Human Rights Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024.
The meeting also scrapped the ‘Quick Enhancement of Electricity and Energy Supply (Special Provision) Act, 2010 (Amendment 2021)’ and given final approval to the draft of the law subject to the vetting of the law ministry.বিস্তারিত
