The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants against five individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and ex-Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed, in connection with the alleged genocide at Shapla Chattar in the capital on May 5, 2013.
The court has also directed the arrest of former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, former IGP Hasan Mahmud Khandaker, and activist Imran H Sarker. The three-member tribunal, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, approved the prosecution’s plea for their arrest.বিস্তারিত
