All-type internet prices of Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCPLC) will decrease by 10 percent.
This decision was taken at the company’s board meeting yesterday (Saturday). As a result, the company’s costs will dwindle in both mobile internet and broadband services, said a press release issued by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing today.
Faiz Ahmed Taiyeb, the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, said the government has been working to minimise the internet price.
Several initiatives have been taken to ensure that people are getting internet at affordable prices, while reducing prices at wholesale level is one of those, he said.
As a result of this decision, Taiyeb said, the prices of all bandwidths at international gateway level of the internet will be cut by 10 percent.বিস্তারিত
