BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has stated that the national election must be held within December of this year.
He made this remark on Wednesday afternoon while virtually addressing a mammoth youth rally as the chief guest from London, organized in front of the BNP central office at Naya Paltan in Dhaka.
The programme, titled “Establishing the Political rights of youth”, was jointly organised by three associate bodies of the BNP—Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal (Youth Front), Swechhasebak Dal (Volunteer Front), and Chhatra Dal (Student Front)—with participants from the Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, and Faridpur divisions.
Tarique Rahman urged the young generation to begin preparing for the election in December.
He also outlined BNP’s vision for creating employment opportunities for the youth if the party comes to power.
