The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has stated that false rumors are being spread regarding the number of deaths in the recent jet crash incident at Milestone School and College in Uttara.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, ISPR noted that social media platforms are witnessing a surge in misinformation about the number of casualties in the incident.

“Many are believing these rumours without verifying the facts,” the statement said.

The release emphasized that the Bangladesh Army responded promptly and with full effort immediately after the incident, even without any prior instructions.

“We have no intention or effort to hide any information about our children,” the statement clarified.

Lieutenant Colonel Sami Ud Doula Chowdhury, Director of ISPR, said, “I want to make it absolutely clear that any media outlet is welcome to investigate this matter. They may interview army personnel or visit any related site. We are fully prepared to provide maximum cooperation.
