Israeli strikes kill 5 in Iran’s Khorramabad

Online Report

At least five people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian city of Khorramabad, according to reports from local media citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The strike is part of an escalating conflict that began earlier this month.

Iran’s state-affiliated Nour News Agency reported that 15 members of the country’s air defense forces, including officers and soldiers, have died since the renewed hostilities broke out early Friday morning.

The Iran-Israel conflict reignited on June 13, with Israeli forces launching a series of targeted attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure.

In recent days, key Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists have been killed in the strikes. Several government facilities, state television buildings, and civilian infrastructure have also been hit.

The situation remains volatile, with fears of a broader regional escalation continuing to grow.
