The results of the 48th (special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination have been published, with a total of 5,206 candidates provisionally passing the written (MCQ-type) test.
Of them, 4,695 candidates passed for the post of assistant surgeon and 511 for the post of assistant dental surgeon, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) yesterday (20 July).
The examination was held on 18 July. The commission stated that the full results and related information are available on its official website: www.bpsc.gov.bd. It also noted that the published notification may be amended, if necessary, for valid reasons.

Oral examinations of the successful candidates will begin on 6 August. A detailed schedule will be announced in newspapers and on the BPSC website in due course.
