Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Naz presented her Credentials to the President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi today.
Bangladesh Ambassador told, she brought the message of good will and friendship of President, Prime Minister and people of Bangladesh for continued growth and welfare of Vietnamese people. She recalled the similarity of independence struggle both the countries have, Bangladesh under the leadership of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh’s leadership. The Ambassador reiterated that she would work closely to deepen the bonds of relations the two countries have in the fields of agriculture, trade and commerce, pharmaceutical, education, culture, etc. as well as she would further undertake efforts to tap the potentials those have not explored yet to take the relationship to a higher level.
The President expressed his satisfaction in the existing bilateral relations and hoped that in her tenure, the friendly relationship between the two countries would be more strengthened.
