Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will hold a high-level meeting with senior police officials on Monday to discuss the country’s law and order situation and provide strategic directives for maintaining security.

According to Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, 127 senior police officials, including Superintendents of Police (SPs) and other high-ranking officers, will attend the meeting at the Chief Adviser’s Office.

During the session, the Chief Adviser will engage directly with field-level officers, listen to their challenges and concerns, and outline key priorities for law enforcement across the country.

Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam will open the discussion with a welcome speech, followed by six field officers who will present insights on critical security issues.

“This will be an unprecedented discussion, as such a direct meeting between the Chief Adviser and senior police officers has not taken place before,” Azad stated during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy.

The event will also be attended by Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahammad. The discussion is expected to focus on crime prevention, public safety, and strategies for effective law enforcement in the coming months.
